Quick update, havnt bought the parts yet, Damn good friday! However we were able to hotwire the car which for some reason has appeared to have fixed it.... The car now starts first time everytime. Could starting the car have repaired something in the ECU that was stopping it from functioning properly or something like that? Anyways ill see if it still starts later on today and go from there.

Your problem is not the ECU.

Sorry let me explain further. When i said hotwire i didnt mean the traditional way of hotwiring. i just didnt know what to call it. All i did was bridge 2 of the pins shown in the diagram below (i cant recall which 2 exactly) and the car turned on (fuel pump started and odometer appeared) then i could start the engine with the key.

Any ideas on what could be happening?

Loose wiring loom, or stuffed BEM.

Hey guys, Final update. It was an earthing problem just like most of you said. It was on the underside of the plug that connects the Main wires with the battery terminal. Old Battery acid had eaten most of the joining wires and plastic away and had completely severed the earth wire. So from the top everything looked Fine and dandy but from below it was a mess. We ended up just cutting the wires and soldered them together and it works like a charm, starts every time, engine sounds great. This also solved my coolant sensor light problem aswell.
Thank you all for your input and help.
