el ecu is in. i have run those 2 wires (blue and blue white) from the ecu. at the moment my thermos are a bit weird. with aircon on full i have both fans on fast. however when the aircon is off and the car gets hot only 1 fan comes on and its fast. I think i'll have to screw around with the wiring and stuff so that i can get the different fan speeds.

I would think thats right, both running when air con is on and one running with air con off and engine hot.

Mine cuts both fans to half speed when the ac is off and engine is at operating temp.

Good news. I got the thermos all working 100% thanks to benno.

Now I have a different problem. My car appears to be missing a fair bit when under load. I have used new leads and dizzy cap and I have re-gapped the spark plugs. I thought maybe my timing is out so I adjusted the timing with a timing light but on the AU motors they don't have a 10deg BTDC mark. So its hard to accurately set the base timing. Could anyone let me know any way to correct this?

P.S I wanted to try buying new spark plugs today but they cost $25 each! THe ones used in AU3 motors are iridium and cost heaps more than the older ones.
