hey all.. went to start my car this morning and nothing happen.. the thermo fans turned on.. and thats it.. so i thought the battery is flat i left it charge all day.. and when i got home put it back in tried to start it.. it still wouldnt work.. so now i think it might b the starter motor.. i checked fuses and made sure the termials were corrosion free and on tight.. and only the stereo and fans turn on..

so any thoughts on what could b wrong would b much appreciated..

could try the old tap the starter with a hammer and see if itl start

Either that or (WITH CAR IN NUETRAL) short across the starter with a screwdriver and see wot happens :?

Hey Superman, Check your battery terminals and then try changing your starter relay for a spare or one of your headlight relays. Or maybe there is kryptonite in the petrol?

tried tapping the starter motor.. that didnt help.. spose will have to get a new one sometime in the near future.. does anyone have an idea on how much they will cost..

Im sure u can get them cheaper. My old work sold vk/torry starter motors for $40

what model car if ef or el the body control module can go with no warning try giving the dash abve your left knee a bit of a tap while the key is in the start position if that doesnt work i sometimes have to turn the key and hit the horn and it starts if these dont work then look at the starter and so on
