Hi everybody

As the title states my car wont start. Ive looked over it with some mates and we have checked if it gets spark which it does, checked compression which it has and checked the fuel pre filter which is fine, except i screwed the bolt that screws into the filter :( (p.s cheap tools suck) so i need to fix that first. but the main thing is it still wont start after checking all that, has anyone got any ideas or experienced the same problem.

Is it completely dead or does the engine rotate when trying to start?

A longshot but could be a broken timing chain or ECU BCM module. More info needed.

i havent changed anything recently and the car cranks fine just dosent start

Check the ignition relay and see if it is stuff or check for any blown fuses.

Ignition relay is located under the radiator fluid reservoir.

so it does everything normal except doesnt fire, could it be the ignition coil

does it have interior lights? if not the CRT LMP fuse is blown, and the car will not start

Sounds like it's not getting any fuel. Fuel pump might be dead or a blockage

He's got spark, so more likely fuel I think!!!

Broken timing chain would be noisy me thinks......

when you flick the key to ON not start do you hear a 3 second whine coming from the boot if not your fuel pump could possibly be rooted
