gday cars strating to smoke when starting it and smokes after reving it any ideas??? is this a sign it needs a rebuild .... cheers...

If it smokes on startup and after acceleration then it is valve stem seals. Cheap and easy to fix. If it smokes all day long, or only when cold or during heavy acceleration then it is rings.

You should be able to do valve stem seals yourself for under $100, including an oil change.
