im getting pacemaker extractors with s.5 inch cat back system i was wonderin if any one would no how it will sound or go with out the catalitic converter is it necesery on the car

it is neccasry for emisions

my car went a wee bit better and sounde deeper without the cat
but my fuel econ went up s**t creek

have put a cat back on and car runs much smoother

not only that it is illegal not to have it on cars after a certain year and theres a $10000 fine if u are found to have modified it or dont have it
