since Petrol prices are going through the roof ive taken steps to reduce my fuel bill......thats right ive started walking more :P but you cant walk every where, so one day while i was cleaning the throttle body on my EA an idear hit me maby i can route one of these fuel injectors through a switch so i can turn it off

does that sound feasible?, would the computer allow me to do that? or would it be a waste of $5 worth of stuff.

any idears, help, or feedback will be great :)

you won't save a bit of petrol doing that,,you'd just make the one injector work more,,,plus at what point do you think you'd be able to turn it off..

CFI has two injectors

And no, your engine needs a certain amount of fuel to work. If you switched one injector off, the other would try to squirt twice as much. If the one remaining injector couldnt supply enough fuel to stop leaning out to far you risk damaging the engine.

Try advancing the timing a little, make sure the oil, plugs, and filters are clean. Thats pretty much all you can do.
