Well I only got a quick thrash around my block without the airbox & piping connected, and what I noticed was that the engine has 0 hesitation when you touch the throttle, along with revving smoother. I could also feel a nice increase of power (even though it's hot engine bay air :S) but I'm not sure how much has come from the new parts or simply not having a restrictive intake.

Also a bare T/B makes the engine sound so much louder and meatier :)

I would love to polish mine but I don't have the time lmao.

If I had a spare BBM laying around then sure but I needed my car back on the road ASAP.

How long did it take you to do yours?

I can't remember - too long....never get those hours back :)

I bought a second hand one from a wreckers for $100 so I could work on it and still have the car going - then when it was finished swapped it over

It's something I'm glad I have done but will never do again
