Alot of guys seem to be focused on the rewireing of the injectors i did, trust me there is no problem there i know what im doing and it is actually simple as s**t if you have a wireing diagram... there is only 3 different coloured wires 1) is a red wire that supplys power to all the injectors 2) is a green wire that is the signal wire for 2,4,6. 3) and a tan wire that is the signal for 1,3,5. i used high quality thick wire and hooked them up to the appropriate plugs on the ecu. the isc is working fine too it is clean and has all the right resistances and so does the wireing for it. to answer blacksabbath 189 the idle is all over the place and with the earthing for the ignition i have a voltage staberlizer fitted that has numerous eath leads one of which is earthing out the dissy directly.

What they are saying is the Reco injectors could be faulty, nothing to do with the wiring

heres a couple questions / suggestions

1) what do all the spark plugs look like, colour wise
2) have you tried unplugging one injector at a time while its idling, so see what sort of effect it has on the idle / miss?
3) Disconnect the SPOUT wire from the ecu and see if the timing still jumps around, and if it still misses. This eliminates the ecu from controlling the timing.

I have a spare set of injectors and fitting them to the car made no differance. its like
tick......tick......tick......tickticktick......tick......tick......tick
and so on.
unpugging each injector at a time does make it idle slightly ruffer but does not change the miss, even with the other injectors, and the resistance on both sets is spot on also. i have eliminated the ecu from controlling timing by joining the A + B terminals on the diagnostics connector whenever i set the timing and when connected it does stay steady, but the car still misses. and the spark plugs are a little black but im guessing because there firing intermittantly and there isnt a hotter plug type that i know of so i dont think i can help that problem there.

have got the same problem mate mine is an eb2 aswell and on deceleration it surges and bunny hops like a frikn horse. i have to put the clutch in and then slowly let it back out or give it a booting and it stops. also misses everynow and then at idle. this seems to be a common problem theres a thread on fordforums with the same story and plenty of others adding they got the same $hit hapnen. there are plenty of solutions been thrown round but ive had no luck either.
keep us posted how it goes mate ill do the same.
cheers
