ive only ever had mine dyno tuned, and have been happy with the better driveability. I can imagine a generic tune wouldnt be half as good.

the one you bought cant be dyno tuned i dont think.

well if you were more specific, instead of "wondering if any of you guys have had any good results with this chip or whats the go?".... i would give more detail.

ive had 3 custom tunes done at the ChipTorque headoffice with 3 different cams, and walked away happy every time. More torque, that you can actually feel, they can make a cranky top end cam very easy to drive low in the revs. They can fine tune fuel maps & idle settings etc. etc.

If you get off the crack for 2 seconds you will see that i was saying a custom tune will give great results, and a generic tune that they send to you in the mail can only do so much !!!

Whats this "my chips better than yours" crap lol!!?.... was only letting you know what you bought, and what its limits are.. thats all :?

mate ill leave the crack for you sounds like you need it more than i do. i only asked a question not for someone to start crackin it, this forum is for people helping each other not people saying mines better than his. as for this argument leave it there.

lol just a little bit of anger on this site :P u should get 4-10kw at the wheels with a generic tune mate, torque should be better ect all over better. but as said without it being tuned to your car it can only go so far. but it will be power u will feel :)

Yep a set of extractors with a full system tied in with a tunr it should go good.
A CAI and pod or something to make it inhale better next.

I think fordfairmont was trying to say don't expect and massive improvements with a generic tune, I'm guessing all it is is a slightly different fuel map?

Will be fine for what you want though and give you a bit of a gain. Seeing as you bought it off ebay you probably got it real cheap too.

And get a cam before mucking around with the intake, unless your filter is seriously blocked or something.
