just wondering is it worth cleaning the idle speed control to narrow down my idle issue with some carbie cleaner or should i just get a new one?

Its worth a shot mate and easy to clean. There is a thread in the tech doc in here that should help out.

also while at it try clean out the throttle body with some carb/throttle body cleaner and a rag should make a big difference in idle
