A dyno is a dyno, I am not sure what you're incinuating but the 1/4 is the real test. As long as I can get yobbo out to WSID next wednesday..

so esentially all that was done to the car was dial in the cam a little bit and advance the timing and this gave you an extra 20kw over the inital dyno done on the sunday afternoon with the new cam installed pulling 128kw's?

somethin fishy here?

as data mine has said, the ignition timing was way out.

if at all anyone doubts what is done to the car i will welcome any test, or put it on any dyno to compare mine against anyone else's. and yes it did make that much difference, compare 2 deg after tdc to 20 deg before, huge variation there.

I haven't given up at 15.6 either. Still its my only family car so i should be sensible about it. I SHOULD be but might not.

Still I haven't run the strip since the unichip was fitted so it would be good to see if that worked or not dynos being what they are i trust the track to tell the truth.

I think that is great!! For all the critics out here...Joes dyno is not a feel good dyno but good numbers on it are really good numbers.

Well done.

Now for some times to put a nice ending twist to this story.

You can't argue with before and after figures on the same dyno.

I think we're all comfortable after the last Dynoday at CMS that the MDX dyno used was pretty much on par for what we expected.
