hey guys

just got home, car wont start

95 EF Futura I6

Did a coil pack 12 months ago

Did a diagnostic on it and its spitting out code 133

Code 133 is not in any of the books or in the tech documents of this site - i searched as well and came up with nothing

It cranks over fine, just wont fire. There was spark, however it stopped. Likewise, there was the PWM signal to the injectors but it has stopped as well. Smartshield jewel is as per usual

Any help i appreciate

Thanks
--Luke

No mention of it in the ford manuals either - test it again just to confirm.

ok, yeh have a light, it works fine, i dont think the BEM is on the way out as i know it does funly things with the interior light - but thats all fine

i read the code again with an LED, its spitting out 1 - 1 - 1

in other words, it thinks everything is peachy

problem is, it dont start and there is no spark

im thinking its chewed through yet another coil pack

looks like another trip on the tow truck....4th since ive had it (2 yrs)

hey mate thats cool.

it turned out to be the crank angle sensor. the BEM didnt create any error codes however. A little disturbing, but at the same time ive seen stranger things with computers...
