ok so i have a ef xr6 and if your know what it looks like at the front bumper, between the bonnet and bumper bar there is peice of plastic that goes from one end to the other and i was thinking of cutting off 45cms off the right hand side so that more air could get to the ss induction snorkle that im getting.

now has any one done this and what is that peice of plastic there for and any coments are welcome?

No. And if they could they could still do it with it on. Its only a bit of plastic strip.

You still need to release the boot lock before opening.
