mine does the same, for about the first 30 sec to minute after starting it runs bad under light throttle. Give it a little bit more and it seems to pushthrough and go alright. Only from sitting still though.... its wierd!!

Seeing as general opinion is that the oxy sensor doesnt affect cold starts, what are some other reasons that it could be happening?

just an update on the mysterious running....

my car is dual fuel but i drive it 99% of the time on petrol...well a few days ago i was driving on LPG for a few days, now im back on petrol for the past couple and the car is running on petrol much much better....before this batch of lpg i hadnt run lpg for more than a month (maybe longer)

im now thinking it might be sparkplugs - theory being that the LPG has "cleaned" the plugs up a bit..

and thinking back now i remember that it used to do this when i was alternating between lpg and petrol more often

Guys just dropping into say the problem is basically gone now, car runs great off cold starts, no lurching or misfiring.

But I still have a bad idle at times, fluctuates though. Idle goes like this basically:

nice nice nice nice cough nice nice nice splatter, etc.

Grrr, one day.

I have a similar problem with my 93 Ford E350 Van. I've already changed the spark plugs and it didn't do any good. So i've ruled that out already... So what is it with the Oxygen Sensor then? Will it make any difference to this problem or not?
