Hi, and welcome to Fordmods.

Everything is possible.

Read my thread, link at the bottom, and search for Racedirector's thread.

I customised my EB Loom to work with the EL parts, but Racedirector used the complete electrics, running gear and interior from an EL and installed them in his ED Wagon. His thread is more along the lines of what you are describing.

Good luck with it all.

Cheers
BenJ

I used an NL Concorde V8 as the donor car for my EA Wagon.

Swap as much as you can over, if you've pulled the engine and dash out, then the heaterbox is a 5min job to remove anyway.

if you swap everything, then its really a pretty straight forward swap.

you'll need to make the odd hole in the body for wiring looms to go through.

hey guys well i got the eb dash out of the car. got the el dash sitting in there with no heater box got some pics for ya to show you what i have done im not going to run the handbrake on the side of the console i dont think its worth it too much stuffing around underneath the car and i hate that. so i have cut some of the dash out i didnt think it turned out to bad what do you guys think?

also cut the old hand brake braket off the pedal box and welded it to the el pedal box i couldnt find any differences between the two except the braket and the bolt holes that hold up the dash underneath the cluster

im off to find head bolts and timing chain guide kit so i can put the el engine back together as it is spread all over the shed right now and my housemate is getting a bit upset with my crap laying round

the box that was behind the plastic you cut for the handbrake.
typically its coloured, but its dependant on what model you got the parts from.
eg, might be green

Body Electronics Module, sometimes refered to as a BCM aswell (body control module)

controls stuff like central locking, smartlock, power window delay etc
