Hello guys i was looking around here and i was wondering if i can change compression myself, or is it a special job, i no nothing about it.
Im under the usumption that an increase in compression= power/torque

u can do it yourself if u have the mechanical ability.
u can remove the head and have it shaved, and use an AU head gasket and bolts to put it back together. u probably need to have a mild port job done to help with flow there, whilst it's off, new valves, springs, collets, retainers, guides and seals and a cam to match the combination how old is the motor, it may need new rings too? |

I have an EBII with an AU engine K's unknown, cam is AU1645
So you recomend a head job

I always recommend head jobs.
Head rebuild with a shave, and ports cleaned up will be sufficient for what you intend on doing. You can only put the comp ratio so high before you need to start looking at alternative fuels.

Alternative fuels? like higher RON or more extream? In all truth im looking at buying a falcon engine and putting it on a stand, then working the living s**t out of it
 , issues are im still not the best mechanic so im in the middle of courses and trying to find and apprenticeship to learn how to do it all, so it will take time.Im also thinking of induction, but with so many options and combos, its very hard to find the path. But for now my every day needs some hair on its nuts! So im looking at ways for more Take off.
