I have a slight problem with my AU wagon...
It has no idea how much fuel is in it.
I ran out of fuel the other day because it was telling me I still had half a tank but as it would turn out I was empty. I don’t like my car playing these mind games with me.
Im tipping it is the fuel sensor in the tank but I want to be sure before I go spending $150 on a new one from the local ford dealer.
Anyone know how easy / hard it is to replace the fuel sensor in an AU?
Also if anyone knows where I can get a cheaper fuel sensor from I’m all ears (because I am a tight a***) :|

Hi mate.

I took mine to auto electrician to diagnose a similar problem. Sounds like the sender unit for sure. Can be done... get yourself a good workshop manual.

Cheers
