ok seeing no one has really had anything to say bout the ba falcons i will iron out a few of the creases

BAD POINTS:top 10:
1)brake shudder (after market rotors will fix )
2)bonnet cable snapping (adjustment and lube will fix)
3) auto blows in radiator(own a manual)
4)diff noise( rebuilt stronger diff-not that common in late modles)
5)water pump o ring leaking( new o ring and gasket goop)
6)steering wheel peeling( not a comon fault get a fpv wheel)
7)water in lights(not as comon in later modles but just a new headlight)
8)power windows slow( silicone the guides)
9)if useing a phone charger power socket wears out -gets bigger(new power socket)
10)icc unit eating cds(replacement icc not to comon though)

GOOD POINTS: top 10:
1)xr modles tighter supension(could be a fraction lower)
2)if wanting a 6 go a turbo(n/a = glorified xt)
3)easy power gain mods available( yeah baby)
4) option of 5sp or the mighty 6sp manuals(go the 6)
5)nice looking and appealin cars
6)option of full leather and all power windows more available
7)6stack in dash premium sound (just a better sub will do)
8)light weight and fuel economical)
9)fpv options bolt on (make a typhoon out of a xr6 turbo)
10)great range of nice colours

hope that helps a few people out with their futer choices :D

Just some clarification: Actually 148KG heavier then the EF, Probably better fuel economy because of the more advanced engine/ecu.

He means the Xr6, is just a glorified XT.

or as I've heard here, 'XT with puppy fat'.

The EL up to current BF falcons cant be all that bad as taxis fleets are mostly falcons. If the Euro cars are so much better im sure the taxi fleets would go euro! My EL has done 220,000 k's now and its great but i have looked after it doing all servicing and repairs myself as some mechanics unfortunately dont do a 100% job which may have been your case with the EL.
