lately whenever i put my foot down in the car it surges and splutters like its missing and doesnt know what gear to be in and also hesitates before revving when in park. i took it to a mechanic because it was making a noise i thought in the gearbox, turns out it was the front wheel bearing which was replaced and also the gearbox oil was checked and topped up, seemed to go fine after that for about a week then this problem started. i recently had the leads changed and for a couple of days it went like a dream but since then it has slowly gotten worse starting off doing it just in top gear but now it does it in all gears it has only been 2 weeks since the leads were changed. can anyone give me any ideas as to what it might be please?

Fuel filter half blocked up ???.....Coil pack ???....crank angle sensor ????....vacuum leaks ????....TPS ???....Gear position switch ????
