I Have recently bought an AU XR6 engine to go into my EB XR6.. im going to be running the BBM manifold and im trying to find a Manual EL ECU.. would the BBM and my EL thermos be able to run directly from the EL ECU?

Thanks,
Brad.

BBM will, and in theory thermos will too - but I couldn't get the bloody things working right!
Good luck finding a manual EL ECU too :)

if you have a manual ECU at the moment, I wouldn't bother trying to find an EL one..

Just get a frequency switch (from jaycar for example), and switch the BBM with that...

As for thermo's, you can get a thermatic switch for those aswell, (also from jaycar if you want, or from Davies Craig or whatever its called).. and that will switch your thermos...

Saves you pulling the dash out to change the ECU loom, and so forth.. worth a though?

Cheers

might as well do it properly and get a manual computer.

its only 1 wire you have to hook up from the vacuum solenoid to the computer anyway.

fairly easy as i had to do it on my XH when i done BBM conversion on that. and i managed to find a manual XR computer as well
