im looking at a t5 kit for my wagon but i have a few issues still... i have limited space to do a conversion.. limited knowledge and tools (can get some tho) but i don't want to do it without guidance or help from someone who has done it.

just a few questions.

1. how long would it take to do it so it will work and stay problem free... i don't want to have to do something twice...

2. is there anyone who would be able to help? maby for a slab of there favorite drink? it wouldn't be soon as i still need to get everything into motion but knowing that ide be able to get some assistance would make things move a lot faster.

3. whats not worth getting second hand??

4. i have a BA 6bolt flywheel in atm will that work with the manual?

5. is there anyone who is looking at converting there car soon that needs a hand? i like to learn..

i know Ive asked a lot of questions about this and u guys are always great help but im just cautious about not being able to finish and having my car off the road for too long..

Some will say it can be done in a day or less. I would suggest you allow yourself a full weekend, and make sure you don't need to rely on your car the following Monday, just in case. Another idea is to do the Pedal Box Swap in advance, as this involves pulling your dash back etc. This will allow you to get the dash back in, and drive it around for a few days, making sure there are no electrical gremlins from the dash movement.

Sorry, but I am in NSW.

3. whats not worth getting second hand??

Clutch Pressure Plate Kit, Clutch Cable, Spigot Bearing

Not sure.

Cheers

The malwood pin will work . . . . . initially. I really would recommend getting a spare pedal box and at a minimum fitting the malwood pin to it, and then reinforce the pedal box.

There is a thread or two on how to do your own reinforced pedal box here on Fordmods.
