Dam it, EF is leaking coolant from somwhere, ive checked the radiator hoses and there both ok, i thought it might have been coming out of the overflow but its not coming out of there, anyone have n e suggestions? ive looked everywhere but just cant seem to find where shes coming out from, its not leaking bad i just wanna get on top of it before it has the chance to turn into somthing bad, also i wanna get all the hoses in my engine bay converted to the braded hoses, where can you pick a set up from and what dollars will i be looking at?

Thanks lads.

if its pooling on the ground it is more than likely water pump seal failure
and if ya cant see any external water loss then ya prob got the dreaded blown head gasket lurgy

Metal pipe - runs from beneath thermostat cover to under the intake manifold - branches off into two rubber hoses (one to heater tap next to starter motor) the other smaller one I cant remember? Seen ONE that had a pinhole rusted in it...

Check the heater tap itself - the metal ones are usually toast by now. - Bursons stock the big plastic suckers (AU type?) is the go - looks like a much tougher design than the originals...

Remember there is a few pipes and hoses at the rear of the engine (under the inlet manifold where you can't see....)

My tip - being summerish and all - The hose running to the heater tap.

Change the coolant - nice fresh stuff is easier to spot.
