Hey guys. I just finished putting a new Overflow bottle in my EF tonight, all good went to fill it up and the bastard of a thing is leaking from the temp sensor on the side. I didn't put in a new sensor i just used an old one I had laying around. Is there supposed to be a seal of some sort on the inside bit as mine didn't have that ?!

Also how much is a new sensor worth, and does it come with the plastic plug thingo. Any help much appreciated.

Cheers,

Damo

needs a gromit.
Rubber is $8 from Ford.
Sensor's like $50

Its not a temp sensor, just a low level sensor.

unscrew.... remove, fit in bung/gromit and refit.

These usually go hard and perish if they have been out of service.

ya see, I thought the same thing when I read the receipt.
However I've never bought a wind shield washer bungholio!

But, last night when I went to add it the the parts database, I noticed someone already beat me.

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/parts.ph ... 6&browse=1

a few rows down.
