the Central Qld road are too rough ill stick with my 30-32psi.
In my 2008 Nissn patrol wagon witch weighs in at 2.9 tonnes I run 32-34 Psi 275/65/17 Yokohama ats. So far have 80000kms on the tyres and will get another 20000 at least.
I tend to stick with lower pressures so if you run over somthing the tyre will flex aroud the object and cause less damage.

i'd be to scared to run them that low in my fairmont with 18's, ive already coped a pot hole to one of them running around the 40psi mark. if i was running lower pressures it would have totaly ruined the rim and blown the tyre for sure. different story with the 4x4 but, in my prado i run around the 40 on road then around 28-32 off, depending on conditions.
