Hello Everyone

Look’s like I have a steep learning curve ahead of me. I have come from a XE to an EF 6cl Auto. I have noticed that the CPU and air intake (Have I missed out on some other electronic parts?) Has a lot to do with the cars performance. Can someone link some threads or some sites where I can learn about this kind of thing please? And are the EF Instrument Cluster plug and play like the XE's are ?

Thanks
Lucion

Hey, Lucion. Welcome to Fordmods and the wonderful world of the EF. The EF is my favourite Falcon (until I can afford a G6E Turbo).

Not trying to be fob you off, but the Search function on Fordmods is your best friend. Most things you will encounter with the EF will have been covered previously by someone on Fordmods - so tap into that resource.

Here's a few threads/links to get you started if you are looking for performance improvement:

- ECU (CPU):

- Air Intake:
fordmods-technical-documents-diy-f38/convert-au-to-low-restriction-ba-induction-tube-part-1-t100117.html (works on EF as well)

- General Performance Mods:

Enjoy!
