Grinder is an essential tool in my garage - especially when you own a Mini!

I trick I use to remove stuck studs is tap them with a hammer(brass hammer and not a steel one!!), then tighten the bolt a smidge then it should come off. Seven mini engines pulled down and rebuilt and never had a stuck stud. Once out DO NOT REUSE THEM!!!! The tensile strength of the bolts has gone and they stretch over their lifetimes. First thing you do with them once removed is throw them in the bin!

Never ever reuse them or you will go to hell(well your head will leak forever and a day...).

how many kms has it done, just chuck a au engine in if its got lots of kms,

use a au bellhousing and torque converter and itll all fit or just use original and dont bother about a few bellhousing bolt holes not lining up or drill new ones

use the manifolds and belts on your car as the belts and manidolfs are same from ef to au
