EDIT: lol i was right

this is why mention my experience in most shiftkit threads that start up hoping to save some autoboxes out there :)

its not going to go into 1st when your doing over 60km, its reving too hard. It will go into first if you put it in just on 60km or just under. Put ur car in drive and stomp it at 65k's its not going to kick down to 1st it will go to 2nd, then stomp it at 55k's it will kick down to 1st and rev off its nut. It's just how the the gearbox works. Your car not kicking down more then one gear is somthing else, i would get it serviced.

Check to see if the throttle cable is opening the throttle all of the way. My auto wasnt kicking down hard when the cable was stretched.

I replaced it and its all good.

you may have a longer diff than my 3.08 then, maybe 2.92 or somthing so the gears might be little longer on yours

mine will kick back into 1st at 60-65k's, when i stomp it. I have never been able to make it kick back into first at 70k's. There would be no point in my car because it would only have about 10-15k's left in 1st gear
