Hi all,
I'm having a problem with my factory cruise control that I've installed on my ef2 wagon. It turns on, the cruise lights up on dash, but will not engage and have no idea why. I think I've installed all of the necessary components, all the wiring was all ready there so it was just a matter of plugging everything in.
Thanks

You need to add a blanking plug.

If your car is an auto, you'll notice theres lead hanging down behind the fuse panel, you need to short the wires out for an Auto car, and if its a manual you need to add a clutch switch.

Make sure your brake lights work also. - don't just say they are, go and physically check them.
too many people say they're fine, and then figure out they're not right.
I'm assuming you have added the master cylinder switch when installing the 'ready to go unit'?

Report back with your new findings to help you out.

+1 blanking plug (for auto) and brake master cylinder switch and you should be good to go.
