Hi guys,
just asking if it hasnt already been done - when you want to make a cut of switch so when you are in a dodgy side of melbourne - what is the best why to - if theives do get into your car and try and start your car - to cut off?? Fuel line - or coil pack?? Also how would i do it?? Thanks all |

You could do either the coil pack or the fuel pump. Switch just needs to cut the curcuit to either.

my bro had a electronic key, it looked a bit like a memory card out of a camara. it went in a slot under his dash, killed everythink couldnt do fuk all without it in, i dont know who made it but i would like one

i cant tell you how, but i have seen in the past on the net an article on using a reed swicth as a kill switch. You simply cut teh line you want to kill (normally fuel pump works well) run it through a relay or two with a reed switch inline so that when you get into the car you have to swipe your keys (with magnet attached) past the reed swicth to get it sworking. The swicth can be placed anywhere, behind door trim, under dash, even in centre console, just need to be able to swipe past it and trigger it.
Someone else may have a wiring diagram or know how to do it. |
