Hey all,

I just finished my D.I.Y pod filter (in airbox) installation. Great self satisfaction from doing it.... oh... and better throttle response (and sound)

SAAS Pod Filter - $25 (Autobahn)
Custom PVC Piping and brackets - $10 (Mitre 10)

Its a killa install... stock looking from the outside, and fits PERFECTLY in the airbox. TOOK ME ONLY 1/2 HOUR!!!

If you want, I could post up pics... so others can see my pod install. :)

hey mate, no offense but your better off keeping your panel filter as you will get a better flow

if you want to do a proper pod its best to get ram air induction into the box and even then your better of with a panel filter. pod makes more sound but looses a bit of torque which isnt what you want.

i did this test mod AGES ago and found it not very useful unfortunately..

ill post pix up .. although i used a bent 3" pipe inside the airbox sikaflexed in with a k&n filter.

As I found in my investigations any of the gain in installing a pod comes from removing the black rubber mount at the rear of the airbox. Not from the pod itself. Try it with your standard filter and pod removed, it will be just as good if not better.
