I'm just wanting to see if anyone has used one of these and what they have to say about them.

I have used one. I actually have two which I'm trying to sell, so I'm not looking for speculation about how they might work, I'm looking for people's opinions on how well they do work.

I just don't like them when it comes to street / longdistance ....

I asked Jim Mock about them specifically a while ago. His answer was brief and to the point.
"They dont flow enough for the I6, I wont touch them."

I guess people can make their own conclusions but I'm not willing to risk it.

My dad just read an article in a magazine about the new Ferrari. Apparently it's got 2 Davies Craig water pumps on it, which is interesting.

At full flow they flow nearly double that of the 5L water pump so I would assume its about the same as the I6 pump. I was actually the first falcon to fit one back when they were released a number of years ago. Initially it seemed a good unit, kept the car nice and cool even in 40+ degree days with AC, but the first unit only lasted 1 month (replaced under warranty and told it was a unusual failure) but then the second one lasted about 6-8 months, so I was not happy. Autospeed also did an article on them but Davies Craig threatened legal action and they never published it, it would have been interesting to see what they found.

That sounds suspicious! A coverup of more dodgy merchandise, that would never happen in Australia

But then if the product was doddgy how the lawsuit? Could have been Autospeed.
