Hi Folks, driving to work to day fine, then all of a sudden car starts running like cr4p

i pull over, check HT lead 1,2,3 all sparking fine, the back three were too hot. I drive on a bit and try swapping the EECV with my MSIIe, still no improvement, so at this point i'm thinking blocked injector

i get to work, and decide to try removing the other three leads to determine which cycl has the problem, any way after i burn the back of my pinky, there was no spark coming from HT lead 6.

I had always thought, since it is waste spark there were three coils in series with two plugs in parallel. If that is the case, then my HT lead must have disconnected or be faulty? However, it seems a little odd that a lead would just fall out, and faulty doesn't make much sense since they are fairly new.

so my questions are:
1) is the multi-coil pack three coils, or six coils?
2) do you guys think the HT lead has just shook loose or something?

Thanks for your help guys!

i've fixed the problem,

turns out there are six secondary coils inside the coil pack (three primary)

the leads were in tip-top condition and i felt them on the pack with my hand and they felt fine.

i had a spare coil pack at home so after disconnecting the injector for that cylinder i drove home. Once home, i cut the coil pack connector off the wires and disconnected the HT leads, after that i extended the connector so that i could bring it around the other side of the manifold

then i just connected everything up on the other side of the manifold, its all working perfectly now.
i'm going to put a vid up on youtube, so i'll post that here when i'm done so you can see. Its in a much better spot now, if i need to replace the coil pack again or the HT leads. The only issue at the moment is i need to get two leads with right angle connectors so they don't touch the bonnet
