What model ef came with a 3.23 lsd? Im having trouble finding a 3.45 to replace my 3.08 single pegger so i may as well settle for a 3.23 lsd instead.

More models came out with the 3.45 so you would probably have more luck finding one of them? but a mate of mine had a fairlaine with the 3.23.

pretty sure the ef v8's came out with the 3.23lsd

oh yeah and dont just think your limited to high end models and xr's, remember any falcon built after oct 92 with abs had an lsd standard. so a s**t ebii or ed gli with abs will have a limo.

wat?? mine dosn't have LSD and mine has ABS, no standard falcon had lsd unless it was a XR or a fairmont ghia and im not sure about V8's. The standard EBs and EDs were single spinners 3.27 ratio

XR6's came out with the 3.45.
V8's got the 3.23 with the auto's, sure the manuals got 3.23 too in the EF. EL XR6's got the 3.45 and manual V8's had em too. Put a set of 4.11's in there shannon!

I beg to differ on that. My ol, man had a 11/93 ED Futrua with ABS, and it was a 3.08 open centre. Ex police EF's had 3.23 LSD's, as in 'D's cars.

That particular rumor has been disproved before. Green Car In the EB-ED the 3.27 was common on Fairmonts so that might be a good place to look, and should swap in with brake changes. BenJ

Thanks alot fellas,ive sourced an el 3.45 lsd and now just have to confirm if i need to use the el upper trailing arms or not.Thanks again for the replies.

im pretty sure ef manuals came with 3.23 open centres, as mine is amnual with a 3.23 and abs but no LSD
