hey does anyone know the difference between the cams from ea 3.2L, 3.9L, 4.0L in the eb-ed, 4.0L in the el and ef and the 4.0L cam in the AU??

does anyone have stats that they could post up

i have been told that the 3.2L will give you alot of low end power but no torque or upend power

smaller cam = valves open less = higher velocity through chamber into cylinder(greater air flow) for LOW RPM = good torque...not good for anything past 4000 rpm

ok well the main thing im interested in is there a difference between the 4.0 cams and if so what ones the better one for a n/a yet modified motor (untill i can afford a propper cam)

the 4 litre one, the smaller one is only good if your towing heavy loads.

spend 150-200 buks and get your stock one regrinded to any spec you want! bang for ya buck ;)

i have a 3.9 and now a el 4.0 cam ans wanted to know what cam would go better for street driving and small drag races

You can't spend $150-200 to get one grinded to any spec you want ... If you pay that to have one grinded, then it already has masters of it made.

when you purchase a rebuilt motor, what do u think they do? throw in a crow cam? they regrind the original one!
