yes... it's called oil... :-)

kidding.. my ED motor didn't look that hot when I first got it.. first time I changed the oil I put d deasel oil in it.. (higher detergent content)

Then I used some lifter cleaner stuff I got at super cheap.. now it's not perfect, but it's getting close to being totally clean inside..

Diesel oil is fine if its only used for a short time (1000 - 1500k's) the detergents actualy cleanout the internals.

It's an oldie but a goodie.
Drain the oil, dont change filter yet but replace the plug. Flush the oil gallery out with diesel. run the engine for a few mins. Drain, then replace filter and fill with fresh oil. You may not trust this but old dirty oil will be worse for your engine.

if your engine is running ok eg no rattles or smoke?..
i wouldnt worrie about diesel or engine flushing.
making the internals super clean isnt going to give the engine any more power or make it last another 10 years..
actually if you start using diesel oil or diesel as a engine flush the detergents in the diesel oil and diesel may cause early failure of the possably already old oil seals..
you may end up with more problems..
first ? how often do you change your oil??
it sounds like the engine has not had oil changes as often as it should..

just start changing your oil and filter more often..(2500-5000)km
and after a period of time the engine will come reasonably clean..

its up to you but think carefully about why you want to do this??
