As above.
my rear main seal is leaking verry slowly
Preferably replies from anyone who has used it or seen it used.

Don't wanna hear "just do it properly" etc, lol.

I'm hearing rumors it not only fixes the leaks but can cause issues with other seals.

Jus want a band-aid till my new motor I ready, 6 months min.

Anyone used a bottle before?

I would just put up with it untill the new engine is ready.

They are meant to soften and slightly swell the seals. But they will do it to any seal they contact, which can cause more problems then it solves.

If it was leaking really bad from all the seals i'd give it a go, but not a slow leak

Hey mate, i ve had the same problem.
About 9 months ago I had the rear of the headgasket leaking coolant slowly.
I used a product, I think it iscalled metalic seal-up. Its a little bottle with clear liquid and in the bottom tiny metal shavings.
I did exactly what the bottle said.
And it sealed it for 6 months, tiny leak again. So I re did it and its been 3 months. No problem.

Would that be Silver Seal? In a little blue cardboard tube?

I used that on a pinhole leak on my sisters car, poured it into the radiator while engine was running and water was peeing...and I watched it slow and stop..
Brilliant s**t!!
