Did put it into an ED though - Thanks Troyman for the info - very helpful.

I did the sump grind option (the car was unreg - didn't want to chance the engineers cert for the cut and weld). Also I used to ED intake gear (car plumbed up for LPG) and drilled the block and mounted the original lower braces for the bell housing - cut the alloy bit off. If anyone is going to have a go at this conversion took heaps of photo's and happy to post them if anyone wants a look.

Got a bit of AU2 gear left over on eBay if anyone is interested.

Gidday all, having some trouble with the idle in this conversion. The car idles fine when in park or neutral, but when you go to drive or reverse, it's ok for about 3 seconds and then drops to a ridiculously low idle speed (about 200 rpm). This makes driving at slow speed difficult. Have checked the base idle and that seems to be ok (around 500 rpm). I put the ED fuel injection and manifold on it and other than this small problem is going well. Any suggestions?

Cheers, Bob
