Hey guys, just after a little help.

So I just washed my car, hopped in shut the doors and noticed the dash door open light wouldn't turn off. I do the obvious and double checked both doors to make sure there shut. Cars a bf ute by the way. I decide to drive off. Having the beeping warning thing going off every few minutes. Anyway got to my destination hoped out walked away thinking what am I gonna do, hit the lock button and doors lock then horn sounds a few times, so now my car won't lock. Any ideas how I could fix this problem??
So wish I had my old car still, none of these electric problems. But loving the air con that's for sure..

If you can get your ute scanned it will tell which door lock it is.I think the switch is in the door lock assembly. You may be able to remove the central door locking fuse and use the key to lock it .Hope this helps.Kevman.

if u got water leak or sumthing on the electrical then it can f**k with s**t like that.
id say ur best bet would be is to wait out the night and let it dry and tomoro morning/arvo if it keeps doing it then do what woodb suggested.
