I have just aquired an ef sedan, when i got it it has a t04z turbo on with with external wastegate, variable fuel pressure regulater on the rockercover with a dial for psi , and the only down side was it has a blown headgasket so anyways ive been fairly busy stripped it down to clean it up and regasket it and i was listening to some music in my roon and cleaning grime from around the valves and i noticed there is anouther spring inside the normal spring??????

Is this stock???????

If it the standard springs it will be a supression spring inside. it will not a be a round walled spring. Dave

I think all the E-Series engines have double valve springs fitted as standard. They're a gunmetal colour. If they're another colour, then they've probably been upgraded.
