ok guys since dyno's is a very heated and arguementive topic lets see what happens here We have a test vehicle donated by a Fordmods forum member name will be withheld to protect him from outside sources 
We have a new BA XR6 straight of the production line( less than 3 weeks old ) just run in by Fords procedures a virgin dyno car with less than 5000km's I put forward a simple question this vehicle is a factory standard BA XR6 with no mods what so ever YET this car will be run between monday and friday this coming week at night after work which will suit both of us and i will post the results and graphs . i will not be running the dyno in shootout mode but i will do a ramp up and ramp down graphing style so we will get the initia of this vehicle Q1. what would u expect to see the rear wheel kwatt of a factory standard BA XR6 on a dyno dynamics chassis dyno ???? Q2 . what are the factory power figures from Ford ??? cheers

factory power figure from ford is about 180fwkw,
so i'd reckon would be close to bout 120rwkw.

they are 182kw from factory and on a DD dyno (least the one i work on) you'll see about 132RWKW out of it with nothing done to it

ok found my brochure from ford the spec sheets for the BA`range of cars the 6 cylinder version produced max power : 182kw @ 5000 rpm max torque : 380Nm @ 3250 rpm i will take a stab in the dark here and say ( im basing it on 30% loss ) with a rampup and rampdown a average of 127.4 kwatts at the rear wheels will keep u posted between monday and friday week coming up cheers

i would think rear wheels would be around 130kw
my gt-p has 237rwkw (dyno dynamics not in shoot out mode) so i would think the 6 would loos a little more %age through the driveline |

Is it auto or manual. That will help decide rwkw.
If its manual I'll go for 130rwkw if its auto I reckon only 120rwkw. |

BF went into production in about late october or early november, so a car out of the factory 3 weeks ago will absolutly be a BF...
