hey,
i was just wonderin what you guys think mine will do. it has no intake mods other than a K AND N panel filter (im upgradin the intake) pacemaker ectractors and a 2.5" cat back. i got it dyno'd stock and it dod round the 115 mark at the wheels. im unsure whether i can get it done properly atm because i dunno whether the boys at the local tafe will let me have a go or not ;) ne ways, any estimates are helpful.

also, a mate is gettin an auto skyline, r33 turbo. how do u rekon she would go against it?? i think it might come close but lookin at the 400M figures makes me unsure

r33 turbo will get 140-150 stock

yours, 115 to 125 depending on the dyno

If it did 115rwkw stock, and you went to the same dyno, I would take a guess and say it would hit the 140rwkw mark with exhaust and extractors.

You question my guess of about 140, but you dont question the stock figure of 115... lol..

Every dyno I have seen thats given 115-120rwkw stock has hit the 140rwkw mark with exhaust and extractors.

Every dyno I have seen thats given 105 or so rwkw stock has his the 120rwkw mark with exhaust and extractors.

Not turning this into a dyno debate - again - but just taking a guess. Obviously depends on the dyno and the software its running.

I wouldnt think that extactors would give that much of a gain, but if they do, then good stuff

im guessing stoch 112-115 rwkw and with extractor and exhaust 122-130rwkw... thers a lot of variables so this is a bit like "how long is a piece of string?"

Twice the length it is from the middle to one end...

I wouldn't think that you would get 25rwkw's out of a Exhaust and Extractors... but then again you never know until you put it on

It all depends how well you and your mate can drive.

I have two friends with 5spd R33's (both 96 series 2) VS my EF2 XR6 (5spd, exhaust, extractors)

1. First R33 had exhaust, FMIC, SAFC but was only running stock boost at the time. He just managed to stay ahead of me (i.e the front of my car was at his door) up to 140km/h when we backed off.

2. Second R33 is stock apart from 3" exhaust and BOV :P . I easily beat this car even after i launched way too hard and was sideways for all of first gear. Why? Because the driver is a girl who just upgraded from a 1.3L FWD and can't launch a RWD :D

If your mates car is a stock auto R33 and you havea 5spd, wou stand a good chance until he gets some mild mods.

yeah this 1 is a girl and im pretty sure that cos its an auto and turbo that ill be able to get the launch if mine doesn't turn into wheel spin central like all the other times!!!! i tested it out today and i rekon that mine will stick with it cos i got a panel filter and the response is awsome!!!
