My Au is a standard VCT with extractors,2.5 system,SS induction and i manage to get anything from 133-140rwkw.

I did have a HP2 Chiptorque chip but that was a waste got no gains and got my money back for it might try the Edit next thats if i decide to keep the car any longer.

what the hell is wrong with dynos in the eastern states?

Ive been on 3 dynos (spaced over 18months), max variance 1.3rwkw
Stockstandard has been on 4 or 5 here (spaced over months) with the max variance being under 1rwkw.

Yeah, but it also matters what brand of dyno you run on (i like dyno dynamics) and also in what mode too (shootout or one setup by the operator. If the operator sets up the dyno then your result will most probably be different from what you would get on another dyno whereas in shootout mode, the result should be the same every time. Shootout mode is just a standard that lots of dyno dynamics dyno's are now running under so you can actually compare results from two different dynos (provided they are both running under shootout mode).

140.5 rwkw with JMM Dev 4 complete rebuild,9.6:1 compression,ACL pistons,EB XR6 ECU,JMM Street Fighter Headers,2 1/2" high flow cat,2 1/2" complete system & XH snorkel.
Car was leaning out badly after 4500rpm.
BBM will go on in the next couple of weeks, along with magna 24lb injectors and a malpassi fuel regulator that I've got.
Picked up the EMS 8860 yesterday, so i will be interested to see the final Dyno reading! :)

Everybody knows dynos can read differently depending on mode, I think the question is why are they not running then in the same mode. To quote the operator at our last SA e-series dyno day - there is absolutely no reason why two dynos should have different results.

The number of "150rwkw+ cars" that cant back the numbers up with ET and MPH are making a joke of dyno's. Same goes for the number of "125+rwkw stock SOHC I6's".

You must have been leaning out pretty bad mate :o ..I would have thought that all that stuff would have given you quite a bit more grunt (although it is obviously tryin but running out of fuel). Its just that i made 1rwkw less than you on stock engine internals, stg1 Alted cam, extractors and exhaust and i also wasn't leaning out at all (see my dyno chart earlier on in this thread)

looks to me like your dyno is running out of fuel at higher rpm
