are they all the same?will an eb pedal box(manual) bolt into ef or el

hmmm i know the EA-EB used a Cable clutch but since then ford are now using hydrolliv clutches i think. im not sure when they swaped but i think it was around the EF-EL??

the EF/EL still use a cable.
not sure if the EA/B/D box will fit the EF but they are only $100 new and have had a small redesign to help with breaking.

might be worth a new one instead of a pre-stressed unit

makes you think whey they chose to stay with the cable clutch? i thaught the hydrollic ones were better? holden started using hydrollic clutches back in 87

The EA-ED pedal boxes will not fit without substantial mods. You need to remove the umbrella handbrake assembly and you also need to slot the holes where the steering wheel slots into the pedal box. For all the effort though its not worth it unless your really stuck

holden used both. cable for T5 cars and hydrualic for getrag car
