can i ask why you want to spend dollers on a unstraigt dented rusted out ea when you could get a nice straight one for like $1500 buck... no ofence but dos'nt seem like a good starting point

some of the best cars start as scrap remember and they also work well for trial and error

dont get me wrong i allways had poor conditoin cars when i first got my licence just to learn how too handle a car propaly (we have alot off gravel roads and what not so i went throu a few cars pretty quike ...

Its not as bad as it looks it only needs the passenger doors replaced other then that it's pretty straight and it only cost $400 with 4 brand new tires
be sides ill need a car to drive when i take me EF wagon off the road to fix it up

would put some pics up of my old ea but they wont load probilly to big

im pretty sure K&N Filters are one of the best brands out there

I use a pod airfilter and haven't had any dust get through. Here's what happens when you leave a crap paper element in too long.
It all comes back to servicing properly.
This was on a Tojo L/Cruiser.

This is the pod setup on my car, an 88EA S. I make them myself, from stainless steel ( 316 ).

The mounting to adapt the flexible hose to the pod is 100% 316 stainless steel, even the welds are 316 stainless steel. That is marine grade stainless steel to those that don't know.

must be something in the water here in SA, I just bought myself an EA 5 speed sedan for $400 :)

taking my AU off the road for some loving care thats overdue
