what do you mean? that your car tries to start even when you are not turning the key? if that happens then it's probably a wiring fault somewhere.

Unplug your TPS(throttle position sensor) and advance the idle to compensate.

Not perfect solution but liveable.

What is unplugging the TPS going to do?

if your car is trying to turn over with no key in ignition, its either a faulty ignition switch or some majorly f**k starter solenoid wiring.

(if that’s i think you problem is) more info would be handy

well my car has duel fuel and when i drive in petrol for a while, and turn the car off it coughs and splutters and keeps running for about 5 seconds after i turn it off.

this is because there is carbon on the top of my pistons and it has red hot spots that keep igniting the fuel.

hope this helps a little.

one way to get ridof the hot spots is to get the engine up to temperature. then pull the lid off the air cleaner. then bring the revs up to about 2000. slowly pour a schooner glass of water down the throttle body. do it slowly and stop if the engine starts to die. this will shift 90 per cent of the deposits on the head/piston crowns.

i have no idea lol, but the saying "since it started doing it my motor has half shat itself" seems to sum it up nicely :P
