figured as much.. its a shame really..

If I was ford, I'd be giving them away for free for the E series cars.. Encourage people to work on/with them and create new ford fans, a percentage of who will later consider a new Xr6 or something....

They can't be making any significant money selling them for the exorbitant prices they are anymore... anyone that wants one has one by this stage at that price.
G'day Frankieh, tried responding to your PM and kept getting the following error "Could not connect to smtp host : 111 : Connection refused"??? To answer your question simply, I'm with bigpond and I will look at what's involved in setting up a web page so that I can add a downloads page. I have other interesting forms, parts guides, catalogues etc in PDF that I could also post up for the members. :D

Hi Mick and all..

I just got a copy of Micks file..

It turns out that it isn't the ford manual, its a copy of the Max Ellery's 1988-1994 Falcon/Fairlane book.

I know that for a fact because I own the book itself and compared it page for page.

I don't know if easpac91 has the same one or not, but if Page 13 has the headings "Fuel Filter", "Checking Base Timing", "Ignition Timing" and "Inspection of Ignition Coil" and 4 pictures, then you too have a copy of the Max Ellerys book..

Costs about 35 bucks to buy the book at supercheap or repco.

There are better books to be had also because I've discovered several errors in mine.

Better then nothing if you don't have a manual though.. :-)

What you said Frankieh. I too have a copy of the Ellery's book. Better than nothing but only just. So many spelling errors, grammar etc....how can you trust the numbers ?? Think Haynes is the best then Gregorys. For your info the state library in Perth city has a copy of the genuine Ford manual ( two books ) but you can't take it out of the building.
Cheers

You could upload the file to www.sharebig.com. The max filesize they allow is 350MB (Phew!). Problem is that the file gets deleted if it hasn't been downloaded in 7 days.

There are 3 volumes in the genuine Ford manual but be warned they are also full of mistakes.
