yeah, i just wanted to make sure because someone told me that the shocks f**k up or something i dunno. i've chopped my vr commodored fairly low n shes been great.

Will the springs fall out when jacked up or hoisted up, after they've been chopped if the car doesnt have shortened shocks? or will the shock being on the inside still hold them in place when u set the car down and ya wont have to align them yaself as ya lower the jack or hoist?

thanks for the reply buddy

i probably sound like a killjoy, but.. if you have an accident and the insurance company or cops find out your springs are cut (sort of illegal)you will be liable for EVERYTHING, including personal injuries claims. whether it's your fault or not.
something to ponder :?

If you cant afford to do it properly, dont do it at all, cutting springs is for knobheads like holden drivers, and fully sik C*** who dont know better.

I was gunna say just that. Pretty much every post bout lowered springs/chopped springs has someone say they will fall out. WTF? Have you looked at a car lately?

The point is not falling out, though they can become unseated, is the tension of the springs, cutting alters that, in a way its not supposed to, i am not going into it for the 50th time, no matter what knobheads reckon they got them in, and they are fully sik bro, it wont handle like a proper set of springs will.
