Hey fellas been on fordmods as long as iv owned my car so coming up 14, 15 months?
Been looking into some mods namely the bbm conversion and twin fans.
I put a 3.23 lsd in today and that made a huge difference . . . . trust me it did :)
Would the bbm and twin fan conversion be well worth doing?
If that all goes well would be looking into a mild/hotted up cam and some extractors.

Would be keen to hear about what guys have done with there ea's and replicating the same thing in mine :)

just the general goodies. the diff was a good place to start, definitely thermos, a good exhaust, a cam & some suspension mods before you go much further... then maybe bigger coil & a j3 and some fuel support. perhaps you could plan that with the cam. I always wished I bought a wild cam for my ea but awareness of the J3 simply wasn't there at the time.

is it an auto ? could look at a T5 conversion although by the looks of things you do a bit of towing so maybe stick with the auto... perhaps brakes could do with a look in if your towing also.

if your planning on doing the bbm
you might as well do a whole el motor specially if yours is a 3.9 ltr ea
or get a tickford head then get some work done to that for a cam
if your keen on a cam see cms im going to joe very soon for my el

some of the things ive done to my sisters eb
are cat back 2 1/2 lukey
pod setup
slotted an x drilled brakes
el interior
currently doing the diy shiftkit will finish once i get some more wire
rims

goes preety good - a hell of a lot better then my first car which was a ea 3.9ltr 3 spd auto
(oh how i miss her)

the fan would be worth it, dunno about the bbm. full exhaust, cam and j3. oh yea and pod.
remember our laws aren't as resrective as oz. so no cat, pod doesn't have to be enclosed etc

Cheers for the advice the diff was defiantly worth the money.
I'm still very keen on the bbm mod as my motor is fuel injected and well its never let me down thus far so why ditch the old reliable workhorse for some 'fancy el' :P

I do tow a bit, are the autos better for towing?
A manual conversion would definatley be on the cards now as im no longer spending money on just maintenance.
