That would be sweet, old school rolla with falcon six. The physical size is the same from 250x-flow to the 4.0l today, the barra motor(BA) is slightly longer, but u will get it in there if the 250 will fit. will be tight though, what state are u in, i just did a 4.0l conversion on my xf, and managed to right it off. I have all the parts, and an ea computer that doesn't have smartlock, i also have a megasquirt computer all assembled that was meant to go in, but i managed to bend the car. OMG SO p****d. anyway PM me if u are interested, i'm in WA. have all the s**t, it has a t5, clutch and flywheel brand new and was the head new off the shelf, done 3000 odd km's. that went hard in an xf, corrola with that motor would be rediculous.

you will have to upgrade everything else in the corolla if ya did that conversion. Bigger brake booster, 4 wheel disk brakes, tailshaft, diff etc, etc. and at the end of the day it's still going to be a poxy coralla van with 10 grand thrown into it.

What about a throwing a 4AGE 100kw twin cam motor into the corolla??? Thats the most common conversion for the old toyota's which has plenty of info about it!

but then thats not at all unique.

better idea, put the 4L 6 in the rolla, and turbo that.

You wont get a Corolla engineered with a Falcon 6, you would have to get it classed as an ICV, Independantly Constructed Vehicle, which has strict build rules, and strict driving conditions.

id like to see it fit, the i6 is a lot longer than the 250 x flow afaik, apparently the modern i6 wont fit the old xl-xp but the 250 would.

ok well some say that it is is the same and some say it is not? will have to go to the wreckers or some thing with a tape? what do you think would be in volved in takin the computer hardware about and gettin it into the rolla? and it will not be made ledal at all, would cos to much, and ive already go a rolla with an 1800cc in it with a turbo set up i mad efor it to, but i have plans for the 4AGTE in it, but the wagon will just be like aburnout car, but i really dont know cos i need money and that to finish off other things and i have a nother ea that is auto and cpi so i might just keep the chrome stuff off my motor and seel the other ea to get some money and runn the other motor in it whan i gett some things done, i also have a all alloy laylend V8 that i was thinin of puttin in but the for mootr would go better,

SO im thinkin i will see if any one will buy stuff off the ea and then go from there?

oh dis is the motor that was goin in, turbos just sitting there, and dis is the car.

ok well im goin ahead and doin it :o goin to start on the week end and yes it will be on the road

any one got any motors out of a car that you can maybe get some measurments for me? need one with a t5 on the back off it.

lengths i need
- whole length of the motor from front pully to back of box
- front pully to gear shifter
- front pully to back of block
- width of block at back were the box bolts on
- hight at same point
- hight from bottom of block to rocker cover
- length of box and widths of back and middle
- well i think thats it relly if you think of any let me know?

ALSO do the eas have a seporate loom for the ecu to the motor? it looks like most of it is like that just some main powers and other thinnnnngs run to the cluster and fuse box!!

thats it for now, will be very helpful if some one can help me out, will mostly just pull the holw dash apart and see :D
